Alexander S. Ankier Esq. earned a B.S. in Accountancy graduating cum laude and a Masters in Accounting with honors from Wake Forest University. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School cum laude in 2020 and passed the bar exam in Vermont in February 2020. Mr. Ankier is admitted to practice in both New York and Vermont.
Prior to joining Rella & Associates, Mr. Ankier worked at Ernst & Young in their financial service tax department. He helped ensure tax compliance for hedge funds and private equity firms during his time at Ernst & Young.
While attending Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Ankier was selected for the Brooklyn Law Review and served as an Associate Managing Editor during the 2019-2020 academic year. In Volume 85 Issue 3, Alexander’s note titled “Debugging IRS Notice 2014-21: Creating a Viable Cryptocurrency Taxation Plan.” This extensive undertaking required Mr. Ankier to truly refine his legal research and writing skills.
In his personal life, Alexander enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Zoey and Ivy, playing basketball, and working out.
